O crime aconteceu em junho deste ano, quando a vítima, Antonio Itanólis de 65 anos, foi esfaqueada ao proteger a filha.

De acordo com a GCM, a corporação recebeu uma denúncia informando que o autor do crime estaria no Jardim Santa Rita de Cássia. Uma equipe de Apoio Tático seguiu até o bairro e encontrou o procurado na Rua Artur Gonçalves da Silva.

Como já havia um mandado de prisão temporária contra o autor, após a confirmação da identidade, ele ficou detido à disposição da Justiça.

No dia 28 de junho, o homem de 33 anos foi até a casa da ex-companheira e após uma briga, tentou esfaquear a mulher. O pai da vítima tentou intervir e proteger a filha, mas acabou levando uma facada no abdômen.

O aposentado foi socorrido para o Hospital Santa Bárbara, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos.
