O crime aconteceu na noite de sábado (8) durante uma festa que acontecia na casa da vítima.

Segundo informações da corporação, o detido não tinha sido convidado ao local, mas era irmão de um dos convidados.

Por volta das 20h30, o homem foi à cozinha e pegou uma faca dizendo que tinha prazer em ‘ficar armado’.

Nisso, a mãe da criança interveio e retirou todos os objetos cortantes ou que pudessem oferecer riscos aos presentes. A mulher não contou para os familiares o que o suspeito tinha feito.

Instantes depois, a mãe e a tia da vítima viram o acusado nos fundos da residência agachado. Uma delas foi verificar e flagrou o homem escorando a criança na parede com as mãos na boca da menina, para evitar que ela pedisse por socorro.

A tia da criança gritou e o acusado saiu correndo e se escondeu numa região de mata.

A população se revoltou com o caso e começou a procurar pelo homem. Após 20 minutos, o grupo encontrou e linchou o acusado.

A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Monte Mor chegou após o ocorrido, socorreu o homem e formalizou a prisão. Ele responderá pelo crime de tentativa de homicídio.
