O caso foi atendido pela Polícia Militar (PM).

De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, uma equipe da corporação foi acionada, pois durante a manutenção em uma galeria de esgoto para ajudar a escoar a água das chuvas os funcionários encontraram o corpo de um feto foi encontrado em meio ao entulho e lixo, na Avenida Emílio Bosco.

A Polícia Cientifica foi acionada e realizou a perícia. O caso foi registrado no 4º Distrito Policial, onde será investigado.

O corpo foi removido pela funerária de plantão e encaminhado para o IML (Instituto Médico Legal) de Americana. O feto estava enrolado com o cordão umbilical e sem roupas. Ainda não há informações sobre o sexo da criança.
