O homem fugiu de Nova Odessa a Santa Bárbara (SP) antes de ser detido.

De acordo com a GCM, o roubo do veículo aconteceu na noite de domingo (10), no bairro Jardim Capuava, em Nova Odessa. A vítima estava entrando na garagem com a caminhonete modelo Ford Ranger, quando o ladrão chegou e anunciou o assalto.

O criminoso fugiu com o veículo e após receber as informaçõe sobre o caso, a GCM iniciou buscas pela região onde o crime ocorreu. Já por volta das 00h30, uma viatura encontrou a caminhonete na Rua Silvio de Paula, região do Jardim Nossa Senhora de Fátima.

A equipe deu ordem de parada usando sinais sonoros e luminosos, mas o condutor ignorou e seguiu em fuga.

Com apoio de equipes das cidades vizinhas, houve perseguição até Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP), onde o motorista resolver retornar à cidade de origem.

Novamente em Nova Odessa, o ladrão jogou o veículo contra a viatura da Guarda Municipal de Americana (SP) que participava do acompanhamento e finalmente acabou detido.

Os guardas encaminharam o bandido ao Distrito Policial, onde a vítima fez o reconhecimento. Ele ficou detido em flagrante pelo roubo. A caminhonete roubada foi devolvida à vítima.
