A vítima ficou 10 dias internada na Unidade de Tratamento de Queimaduras (UTQ) da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Limeira (SP), mas não resistiu.

O acidente aconteceu na casa de Elisângela, em Rio Claro (SP), no último dia 16. Segundo informações preliminares, ela esquentava óleo em uma frigideira e colocou o ovo em um copo antes de fritar.

A suspeita é de que havia água no copo e que isso provocou um incêndio quando ela colocou o ovo na frigideira quente. As labaredas atingiram Elisângela e suas roupas.

O marido da vítima conseguiu apagar o fogo e pedir ajuda, mas a mulher ficou bastante queimada. Ela foi atendida em um hospital da cidade e depois transferida para a ala de queimados da Santa Casa de Limeira.

Elisângela passaria por uma cirurgia, mas morreu após sofrer uma parada cardíaca.

A ocorrência foi registrada como morte acidental no Plantão da Delegacia Seccional de Limeira.

O enterro de Elisângela aconteceu na tarde desta segunda-feira (26) no Cemitério Municipal de Itirapina (SP). Ela deixa uma filha de 1 ano e 8 meses.
