A ação contou com o apoio do Departamento Estadual de Trânsito (Detran) e tinha como objetivo, o combate a furtos e roubos de motos e a receptação de peças.

Um balanço divulgado pela Deic aponta que ao menos cinco prisões foram realizadas em Campinas. A polícia não especificou quais outros municípios foram alvos da ação. No total, 15 comerciantes foram conduzidos à delegacia pois trabalhavam de forma ilegal.

Oficina lacrada

Uma oficina mecânica foi lacrada no Parque Oziel em Campinas. Três motos foram apreendidas no local e uma pessoa foi conduzida à sede da Deic para prestar depoimento. De acordo com a Polícia Civil (PC), a apreensão aconteceu devido às motos terem sido arrematadas em um leilão para desmanche, mas não foram desmontadas no prazo legal de dez dias, conforme previsto em lei.

Santa Bárbara d’Oeste

Em Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP), um homem de 45 anos foi preso em flagrante durante a operação. Investigadores apreenderam peças diversas de moto em um desmanche, localizado na Avenida da Agricultura. Segundo informações apuradas pelo Policial Padrão, a apreensão aconteceu pelas peças estarem com irregularidades na numeração do Detran.
