A Polícia Municipal de Cosmópolis prendeu na madrugada deste sábado (09) um traficante no bairro Cidade Alta, com grande quantidade de drogas.

Segundo informações da corporação, a equipe da Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (ROMU) composta pelos agentes Neto, Mendes, Vitor e Aragão realizava o patrulhamento pelo bairro já conhecido pelo intenso tráfico, ao notar uma movimentação estranha de indivíduos na comunidade foi realizada uma incursão com apoio de outra do Grupo de Operações com cães (GOC).

Um indivíduo foi abordado sentado com uma sacola verde nos pés, dentro  os agentes localizaram 298 eppendorfs de cocaína, 153 buchas de maconha, 41`ziploock`de nine nine, uma espécie de droga especial e R$165,00 em notas diversas.

O homem foi detido e encaminhado junto com o material apreendido para a delegacia de polícia da cidade, onde permaneceu preso a disposição da justiça.
