O crime aconteceu por volta das 09h, no bairro Vila Aeroporto.

De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, o autor de 30 anos teria matado na noite de segunda-feira a filha Manuella Bernardes Santana, de 3 anos, e a sogra, Creuza Aparecida Bernardes, de 71; enquanto a mulher dele, Claudia Bernardes Santos, de 34 anos, foi assassinada na manhã desta terça-feira.

A crime aconteceu após uma discussão entre o homem e a mulher. Em seguida, a sogra teria feito uma intervenção. Após os assassinatos, o autor acionou a Polícia Militar (PM) e se entregou.

O caso será investigado pela 2ª Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM) de Campinas. De acordo com a Polícia Civil, o suspeito prestou um primeiro depoimento sobre o caso na unidade e não demonstrou arrependimento. A pá e a enxada usadas nos crimes foram apreendidas.
