A vítima faleceu às 06h15, após sofrer uma queda no dia 23 de junho.

De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, no dia do acidente a vítima foi encaminhada primeiramente ao Hospital São Lucas e depois de dois dias de internação a mesma foi liberada para voltar para casa.

No dia seguinte a cuidadora relatou que a mulher acordou passando mal e com muita dor de cabeça. A idosa foi encaminhada ao Hospital São Francisco, onde permaneceu internada até o dia de hoje (02).

O caso foi registrado na Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ), como morte suspeita e acidental.

A vítima era viúva, natural de Campinas (SP) e moradora do Centro de Americana (SP). Até o fechamento da matéria não havia informações sobre o sepultamento.
