De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, por volta das 09h30, a vítima foi resolver um problema no carro e quando estacionou em frente a oficinal foi abordado pelo ladrão.

O criminoso colocou a faca no pescoço do ex-vereador e pediu a chave. O mesmo fugiu em alta velocidade e acabou perdendo o controle de direção colidindo o veículo que foi localizado logo depois na Vila Linópolis, com danos em várias partes.

O autor de 35 anos, morador de Capivari, foi preso após a Polícia Militar (PM) ser acionada, o mesmo também havia roubado cerca de R$ 2 mil, horas antes, na mesma Avenida, em um depósito de material de construção. O dinheiro não foi recuperado.

O caso foi registrado no Plantão Policial, onde o indivíduo permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
