Segundo a Polícia Militar (PM), os soldados Neemias e Nathan foram solicitados para atender uma ocorrência de agressão na Rua Ema. Ao chegarem ao bairro visualizaram um Chevrolet Kadett com as mesmas características passadas e ao notar a viatura o condutor fugiu por diversas ruas.

A equipe iniciou acompanhamento e conseguiu abordar o motorista na Rua das Cotovias. Foi constatado que o mesmo havia entrado em uma discussão com seus vizinhos e ao tentar sair do local acabou atropelando sua irmã.

A vítima foi socorrida pelo Corpo de Bombeiros e encaminhada ao Hospital Municipal, onde passou por atendimento médico com ferimentos leves.

Os militares fizeram os autos de infrações necessárias e recolheu o veículo. Já na Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ) o home foi indiciado por embriaguez ao volante, direção perigosa e lesão corporal, mas não permaneceu preso.
