A Polícia Rodoviária precisou interromper o trânsito no trecho por cerca de 20 minutos, para que o réptil pudesse passar sem sofrer ferimentos.

O fato inusitado foi gravado pelo dono de um restaurante local, Daniel Arena. De acordo com o empresário, não é comum o aparecimento de jacarés na região.

Segundo a polícia, o jacaré seguiu em segurança para uma área de mata onde há um lago.

Segundo informações da Guarda Municipal de Americana (GAMA), populares encontraram um filhote de Jacaré, “caminhando” pela avenida Comendador Thomas Fortunato, aproximadamente 500 metros longe da agua.

Desta forma foi acionado as equipes de GPA, comparecendo no local os agentes municipais, Subinspetor Caue, GCMs Rodrigues, Donizete e Vanessa, que identificaram o animal como sendo um Jacaré-Açu em perfeito estado de saúde. Foi então feito a captura do animal, para resgate e logo de imediato, foi solto ao seu habitat natual, e onde nasceu, a Represa do Salto Grande, como mostra o vídeo abaixo feito na Praia Dos Namorados:
