O tiroteio aconteceu após um roubo de veículo no Jardim Anchieta, em Campinas (SP).

Segundo o boletim de ocorrência, os dois homens armados renderam a vítima e roubaram o carro. Uma mulher, dona do veículo, conseguiu chamar a PM e, com o auxílio do rastreamento do carro, os policiais encontraram o veículo.

Após a abordagem, os autores tentaram fugir por uma viela. Neste momento, eles trocaram tiros com os PMs. Os bandidos morreram no local e os policiais não sofreram ferimentos. As armas que estavam com os ladrões foram apreendidas.

Ele ficou preso.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada, por volta das 10h, para fazer uma averiguação de atitude suspeita na Avenida Guilherme Thoni. Os policiais foram até o local, abordaram o homem denunciado e encontraram, durante a abordagem, um simulacro de arma de fogo em sua cintura.

O homem foi detido e levado até a Unidade Mista de Saúde, onde passou por corpo de delito. Na sequência, ele foi encaminhado à delegacia, onde o delegado tomou conhecimento do ocorrido e o manteve preso.
