O acidente aconteceu por volta das 6h, no Jardim Dona Antonieta, em Rio das Pedras (SP).

Conforme apuração do site Policial Padrão, o motorista relatou à polícia que dormiu e perdeu o controle da direção na Rua Prudente de Moraes.

O carro invadiu a calçada, atingiu um poste e danificou o portão do estacionamento de um banco.  

O motorista teve ferimentos leves no rosto e se recusou a fazer o teste do bafômetro.  

A polícia tomou medidas administrativas por conta da negativa e só então, o resgate encaminhou a vítima para um hospital de Piracicaba (SP).

Uma equipe da CPFL também foi ao local do acidente e irá realizar os reparos necessários no poste.
