Uma denúncia anônima levou as autoridades policiais até o local em que os entorpecentes eram vendidos, na região do bairro Vila Furlan.

O sistema de monitoramento da cidade também identificou a placa da motocicleta usada para fazer as entregas. Os policiais e guardas abordaram o motoboy no bairro Jardim Indaiá. Ele e a namorada foram presos em flagrante.

No imóvel do casal, diversas porções de drogas, além de relógios e uma arma foram apreendidos. Em seguida, as equipes foram até a biqueira que funcionava há cerca de 10 anos. Outros quatro suspeitos foram presos no local.

A Polícia Civil afirmou que as investigações para combater o tráfico de drogas no município continuam.
