Ele é suspeito de ter tentado cometer roubos na Rodovia Santos Dumont (SP-075) e ainda não foi identificado.

De acordo as informações apuradas pelo site Policial Padrão, os policiais militares passaram a patrulhar o local após uma denúncia de tentativa de assalto com disparo de arma de fogo na região.

Ao chegarem em uma área de mata no Jardim Itaguaçu II, os PMs viram dois homens no local e decidiram fazer a abordagem.

Neste momento, a dupla correu e um dos homens, virou em direção aos policiais e efetuou ao menos dois tiros contra eles, que revidaram e acertaram um dos suspeitos.

O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) foi chamado, mas o homem morreu ainda no local.
