O atendimento ocorreu após os pais pediram socorro para uma equipe que estava estacionada próximo a Câmara Municipal, no Jardim Santa Luiza.

O casal chegou desesperado, pois a menina se engasgou durante a amamentação e não estava conseguindo respirar.  Eles disseram que tentaram socorrer a filha em casa, mas não conseguiram.

Como sabiam que uma viatura ficava naquele local, eles correram em busca de ajuda.

Os agentes prontamente realizaram a manobra de Heimlich para desobstruir as vias aéreas. A bebê expeliu o que a estava engasgando e voltou a respirar.

Após o procedimento, a família foi conduzida ao Hospital Humanitária para receber atendimento médico. A criança, chamada Júlia, passa bem.
