Um carro atingiu a traseira da moto do rapaz que estava com a irmã na garupa, na Rodovia Doutor João Mendes da Silva Junior (SP-151).

O acidente aconteceu na pista sentido Limeira, próximo à passarela do antigo Isca. A vítima teria ido buscar a irmã no trabalho e retornava para casa quando houve a fatalidade.

De acordo com testemunhas, o motorista de um Chevrolet Astra perdeu o controle da direção e bateu na traseira da moto ocupada pelos irmãos.

Com o impacto, o capacete do motociclista se soltou e ele bateu com a cabeça no asfalto, morrendo no local.

O carro ainda arrastou o veículo das vítimas por cerca de 40 metros antes de parar.

A irmã do motociclista ficou ferida e recebeu atendimento médico.

Testemunhas contiveram o motorista no local, até a chegada da Polícia Militar (PM).
