O crime aconteceu na noite desta quinta-feira (19) na área rural de Hortolândia (SP).

Conforme apuração do site Policial Padrão, por volta das 23h30, três homens encapuzados e armados invadiram a casa situada na Rua Werner Habig. Eles renderam a vítima, a esposa e dois filhos do casal e os obrigaram a fazer transferências bancárias.

Logo depois, os bandidos roubaram diversos pertences da residência e começaram a carregar nos carros da família. Foi durante essa ação que Rodrigues tentou reagir ao assalto e levou três tiros.

Após o crime, os bandidos desistiram de levar os veículos e fugiram do local apenas com cartões bancários e documentos das vítimas. Até o fechamento dessa publicação, a polícia ainda não havia identificado os bandidos.

Rodrigues chegou a ser socorrido ao Hospital Municipal Mário Covas, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos.

A vítima era natural de Campinas (SP) e o sepultamento vai acontecer em sua cidade natal neste sábado (21) às 10h, no Cemitério Parque das Flores.
