A equipe cumpriu um mandado de prisão temporária em Vargem Grande do Sul (SP), cidade próxima ao Sul de Minas Gerais.

Conforme divulgado anteriormente pelo site Policial Padrão, o crime aconteceu no 22 de janeiro. A vítima, Rafaela Cristina Barroso da Silva, de 25 anos, morreu esfaqueada em casa, no Jardim São Francisco após discutir com o namorado.

O autor chegou a gravar um vídeo para a mãe, confessando o crime, antes de fugir do local com o carro da vítima. Logo depois, ele abandonou o veículo com a faca usada no homicídio e estava foragido até a manhã desta terça-feira.

A Justiça decretou a prisão temporária de João Vitor há uma semana. A Polícia Civil o trouxe de volta a Santa Bárbara e o apresentou na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM).

A delegada responsável pelo caso, Nathalia Alves Cabral, da DDM, afirmou que não há dúvida sobre a autoria do crime.
