O caso aconteceu na noite desta quinta-feira (7).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, por volta das 18h30, dois agentes da Guarda Municipal tentaram abordar o indivíduo na Rua Carlos Gomes, mas ele resistiu.

De acordo com o registro do caso, o suspeito sacou um canivete e atingiu um dos GCMs. O golpe chegou a perfurar o colete balístico que o agente usava, mas impediu que ele fosse ferido.

Após o ataque, o guarda reagiu a injusta agressão e atirou duas vezes contra José Carlos. O Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado e constatou a morte do homem no local.

A Polícia Técnica realizou a perícia no local. O delegado determinou a apreensão da arma do agente e do canivete.

O corpo de José Carlos foi encaminhado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML).
