De acordo com a GCM, uma vítima acionou a equipe que fazia patrulhamento de rotina e denunciou o furto em uma loja de roupas no bairro Paulista.

Os guardas foram até o local na Avenida Dr. Paulo de Moraes e encontraram o solicitante acompanhado de uma mulher. Ele alegou que a mulher havia furtado peças de roupas no estabelecimento.

Ainda segundo a GCM, quando questionada sobre o fato, a suspeita deu informações contraditórias e inconsistentes. Ela alegou estar sem os documentos e não especificou nem mesmo o próprio o nome, data ou local de nascimento.

Durante a abordagem, diversas pessoas se apresentaram e também acusaram a mulher de furtos em diferentes estabelecimentos comerciais.

Por fim, a mulher tentou justificar os crimes, dizendo que estava desempregada e com a responsabilidade de sustentar dois filhos.

A equipe conduziu a ladra até a 1ª Delegacia de Polícia de Piracicaba, onde a autoridade policial determinou o flagrante de furto. A mulher foi encaminhada ao sistema carcerário, permanecendo à disposição da justiça.
