De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, o caso aconteceu quando o homem estava saindo de casa para pegar o fretado para trabalhar na Rua Vilma Viêra Cardoso. Os policiais militares Cabo Melo e Soldado Melo foram acionados para tender um acidente de trânsito, no local a vítima já estava sendo socorrida pelo SAMU e sendo encaminhada ao Hospital Estadual de Sumaré, porém não resistiu aos ferimentos.

O autor do crime fugiu do local e se encontra foragido. A ex-companheira da vítima relatou que o autor estava fazendo diversas ameaças dizendo que iria matar os dois. O caso foi registrado no Plantão Policial, mas será investigado pelo 5º Distrito Policial.

O corpo foi velado e sepultado às 10h desta terça-feira (14), no Cemitério da Saudade, em Sumaré (SP). O homem deixa uma filha do casal de 14 anos
