O incêndio e queda da vítima aconteceram na manhã de quarta-feira (1), no bairro Jardim Samambaia, em Campinas (SP). A Polícia Civil investiga o caso.

Segundo a mulher, ela, o filho e a vítima no dia anterior passaram a noite na casa de um familiar, pois o apartamento estava sem luz.

No entanto, no dia seguinte Lucas retornou ao imóvel para aguardar a energia reestabelecer. Mas o procedimento não aconteceu e ele acabou dormindo no local porque teria perdido a chave.

O jovem se pendurou na janela do apartamento após um incêndio atingir o imóvel. De acordo com a polícia, vizinhos tentaram ajudar a vítima, mas não deu tempo. Ela despencou de uma altura de 40 metros, sofreu múltiplas fraturas e morreu no local.

A causa do incêndio é investigada. As chamas não atingiram outros apartamentos. Não há registros de outros feridos.
