O acidente aconteceu na noite desta terça-feira (12), na Avenida Pedro Antonio Bordignon no bairro São José.

Segundo informações da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), o jovem seguia pela avenida e perdeu o controle da direção. Ele atingiu violentamente um poste de iluminação.

O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) socorreu a vítima e a levou com vida para o hospital, mas ela não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu.

Testemunhas contaram aos guardas que o jovem seguia pela avenida na companhia de outros motociclistas em alta velocidade, e o acidente teria ocorrido durante um momento de descuido.

A moto envolvida no acidente foi retirada do local do acidente por uma testemunha. Os guardas, então, solicitaram a devolução do veículo, que foi apreendido e será periciado.

O caso foi registrado na Delegacia de Paulínia, como morte suspeita e localização e apreensão de veículo.
