A autora alegou que estava sendo agredida com coronhadas e reagiu em legítima defesa.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o crime aconteceu por volta das 11h30, em um apartamento no bairro de Conjunto Habitacional Edivaldo Antônio Orsi.

A mulher relatou à polícia que discutiu com o irmão, Matheus de Oliveira Pereira de Freitas de 29 anos, e sofreu ameaças e coronhadas com um revólver. Ela alega que para se defender pegou uma faca e atingiu um único golpe na região do tórax da vítima.

Mesmo ferido, o Matheus conseguiu sair do local e foi socorrido por vizinhos ao Hospital Municipal de Sumaré (SP). No entanto, ele não resistiu ao ferimento e morreu na unidade médica.

Após o crime, a mulher entregou a arma que estava com o irmão para um amigo e a PM conduziu os dois para a delegacia. Tanto o revólver, quanto a faca usada no crime foram apreendidos.

A polícia apura os fatos, mas a autora ficou detida e deve responder pelo crime de fratricídio, que é o homicídio cometido contra o próprio irmão ou irmã.
