O caso aconteceu dentro de um estabelecimento comercial.

Durante patrulhamento tático da Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (ROMU) os agentes Inspetor Charles, Subinspetor J Eduardo e Gcm Edson foram informados de que havia um indivíduo tentando passar dinheiro possivelmente falso na Rua São Gabriel.

No local, o solicitante relatou que em datas anteriores o mesmo indivíduo teria passado uma cédula de R$200,00 em seu estabelecimento de procedência duvidosa e que nesta data tentou o averiguado passar outra nota do mesmo valor.

Foi realizado busca pessoal, encontrado uma cédula no valor citado, bem como uma cédula de 5 dólares. Vítima reconheceu o indivíduo, relatando ainda que várias outros estabelecimentos comerciais pela região, inclusive reconhecido por fotografias através de grupo comercial pelo WhatsApp.

O caso foi encaminhado à Polícia Federal de Piracicaba (PF), onde o falso dinheiro foi apreendido e o indivíduo liberado.
