De acordo com os investigadores do 2º Distrito Policial (DP), o autor é um servente de pedreiro de 22 anos, morador no Jardim Alvorada.

Durante a abordagem, o indivíduo disse que ele e a vítima estavam em um bar e quando saíram do estabelecimento, houve um desentendimento e começou uma briga. Já próximo a um ponto de ônibus, o servente pegou alguns tijolos e atingiu a vítima por cerca de dez vezes no rosto e na cabeça.

Além disso revelo que só parou as agressões devido testemunhas se aproximarem. O caso foi encaminhado à sede do 2ºDP, onde o homem foi indiciado por homicídio e foi liberado.
