O crime aconteceu na madrugada deste domingo (2), na região do Salto Grande.

De acordo com informações da corporação, os bandidos carregaram dois veículos com os objetos furtados. Equipes faziam patrulhamento em um canavial próximo à Rodovia Ivo Macris quando viu os carros no local.

Assim que os agentes se aproximaram, os condutores acessaram a rodovia e tentaram fugir sentido Paulínia (SP). A equipe os alcançou e encontrou oito motores nos veículos.

Cinco suspeitos ocupavam os carros e um deles confessou que o grupo tinha furtados os objetos na pedreira.

A equipe seguiu até o local e descobriu que o vigia ainda não tinha notado o furto. No entanto, ele reconheceu todos os objetos apreendidos e a quadrilha ficou presa pelo crime.
