Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a colisão aconteceu no cruzamento da Rua São Bento com a Rua São Calixto, por volta do meio-dia.

Um professor de Sumaré (SP) seguia em um Fiat Strada e relatou à polícia que um caminhão ofuscou sua visão. Por conta disso, quando passou pelo cruzamento, ele atingiu uma Honda Biz onde estavam as vítimas.

O impacto derrubou a moto no chão e deixou as duas mulheres, de 32 e 36 anos, feridas.

Testemunhas socorreram as vítimas até a chegada do resgate. A equipe prestou os primeiros atendimentos e depois encaminhou as mulheres ao hospital. Elas tiveram ferimentos leves.

Como nenhum dos veículos apresentava irregularidades, a Polícia Militar (PM) registrou a ocorrência e liberou os envolvidos.
