A Prefeitura já recebeu os conjuntos que incluem calças, camisas com mangas longas e curtas, e deve realizar a entrega aos profissionais da corporação nos próximos dias.

Desde 2021, ano em que teve início a Administração Municipal do prefeito Rafael Piovezan, o investimento em Segurança Pública é contínuo em Santa Bárbara.

Nesse período, foram contratados 61 novos guardas municipais, adquiridas 11 novas viaturas e motocicletas Zero Km, mais de 200 novas pistolas, novos fuzis 556, carabinas CTT 40, espingardas calibre 12, diversos equipamentos.

Além disso, houve a ampliação no sistema de videomonitoramento, saindo de nenhuma câmera em 2013 para atuais 238 câmeras espalhadas pela cidade.
