A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) realizou patrulhamento intensivo em todas as vias rurais. No último domingo (17), foram cerca de 60 quilômetros de área percorrida pelas equipes de segurança. As ações, que também têm o objetivo de prevenir ocorrências de roubos e furtos de bicicletas, continuarão por tempo indeterminado.

“A iniciativa visa incentivar a prática esportiva e o trânsito seguro aos ciclistas, para que possam se locomover, exercitar ou mesmo aproveitar um momento de lazer de forma tranquila e saudável”, reforçou o prefeito de Sumaré, Luiz Dalben.

De acordo com a GCM, mais de 1.000 ciclistas costumam pedalar pela região rural da cidade nos fins de semana.
