Este ano, o foco está nas principais infrações flagradas nas últimas operações em feriados, como a falta de uso do cinto de segurança. 

No balanço da Operação Dia do Trabalhador (1º de maio), esse tipo de infração teve 3.515 registros, o que significou aumento de 28% na comparação com a Operação Semana Santa, quando constatados 2.535 condutores ou passageiros sem fazer uso do equipamento.

“É importante que os condutores devem pedir e conferir se todos os ocupantes dos veículos usam o item de segurança antes de iniciar a viagem”, destaca o diretor de Operações da PRF, Marcus Vinícius Silva de Almeida.

Acidentes

A Operação Corpus Christi vai até domingo (11) e combaterá as causas da maioria dos acidentes em rodovias federais. Isso inclui excesso de velocidade, ultrapassagem em local proibido e mistura álcool e direção.

A conscientização dos condutores, como trabalho preventivo, será o principal objetivo da atuação dos agentes na operação.

De acordo com a PRF, o objetivo é assegurar conforto e segurança aos usuários em deslocamento nas rodovias federais, durante o feriado prolongado.
