O objetivo da operação foi conscientizar os motoristas e coibir condutas indesejáveis no trânsito, como excesso de velocidade e manobras ilegais, fatores diretamente relacionados ao aumento de acidentes.

De acordo com o balanço divulgado pela corporação, além das multas, 233 veículos foram fiscalizados e sete veículos ficaram apreendidos.

A Operação Impacto Speed teve apoio do Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem (DER) e concessionárias responsáveis pelas rodovias, com o emprego do efetivo das quatro Companhias do Batalhão, que realizaram simultaneamente as ações de fiscalizações.

Também houveram ações para coibir a condução de veículos sob influência alcoólica, controle de velocidade e prevenção aos roubos de veículos de altas cilindradas, para garantir um ambiente rodoviário mais seguro para todos.
