A ação aconteceu na manhã desta quinta-feira (27).

De acordo com a polícia, a operação cumpriu mandados de busca e apreensão em Valinhos e Mogi Mirim. Na casa do investigado de Valinhos, foram apreendidos celulares que continham imagens de pornografia infantil.

A delegada da Polícia Federal, Estela Beraquet Costa, afirmou que o homem planejava vender o conteúdo criminoso em chats e salas de bate-papo.

Os locais alvos de mandados foram identificados pela polícia como “pontos digitais de compartilhamento de arquivos com conteúdo de sexo explícito envolvendo menores de idade”, por meio de aplicativos em smartphones e salas de bate papo na internet.

Sobre a operação

A Operação Infância Protegida foi desenvolvida pela Polícia Federal em Campinas (SP) no ano de 2023, em conjunto com os órgãos centrais da PF em Brasília (DF).

Os investigados podem receber pena de 18 anos de prisão, relacionadas aos crimes de produção, posse e transmissão de arquivos ilícitos envolvendo exploração sexual infantil.

Em nota, a Polícia Federal afirmou que mantém na Delegacia em Campinas um grupo permanente de investigação de crimes dessa natureza, para tentar acabar com o abuso e a exploração sexual de crianças e adolescentes.
