Ele estava com uma pistola Taurus.

Os policiais realizavam a “Operação Segurança Viária” pela Rodovia Washington Luís (SP-310), quando, na altura do quilômetro 172, abordaram um caminhão Volkswagen 24250, com placas da cidade de Santa Gertrudes (SP).

Durante a abordagem, nada de ilegal foi encontrado com o caminhoneiro; contudo, durante busca veicular, foi localizada uma arma de fogo semiautomática, sendo uma pistola Taurus 9mm, com dez munições intactas. Indagado quanto à documentação, o condutor apresentou uma autorização da posse do armamento com a validade vencida.

Por conta disso, o caminhoneiro foi conduzido ao Plantão Policial de Rio Claro por crime de porte ilegal de arma de fogo, onde a ocorrência foi apresentada. Ele foi liberado após o pagamento da fiança.
