A Polícia Militar desencadeia, desde às 5 horas desta quinta-feira (17), a Operação São Paulo Mais Seguro em todo o Estado de São Paulo, com a finalidade de garantir a continuidade da redução dos indicadores criminais, aumentando a presença ostensiva para melhorar a percepção de segurança das pessoas e combater o crime.

A operação conta com a mobilização de 16.501 militares, com o emprego de 7.282 viaturas e 11 helicópteros, distribuídos em 1.471 pontos. As equipes estarão em locais estratégicos, apontados pelo serviço de inteligência da PM, para sufocar possíveis ações de criminosos.
