O animal estava nos fios de alta tensão da Rua Antônio Escoriza, no bairro Vila Bertini.

A Gama recebeu um chamado da população para comparecer ao local.

Os agentes avaliaram a situação e acionaram uma equipe da CPFL Paulista, que resgatou o animal com a utilização de um caminhão munck com cesto.

Após avaliação, o ouriço foi solto em uma área de preservação ambiental próxima ao local de captura.

O animal foi encontrado por um comerciante, que contatou a prefeitura, que realizou o resgate.

“Nós levamos o animal para o Parque Ecológico, onde ele passará por uma avaliação veterinária e para tratamento para depois ser solto na natureza”, disse o secretário de Meio Ambiente, Fábio Renato de Oliveira.
