A irmã dele de 45 anos, procurou o Plantão Policial da cidade para informar o falecimento na madrugada desta segunda-feira (29).

De acordo com o boletim de ocorrência, a irmã da vítima relatou que o irmão sofreu uma agressão na última sexta-feira (26) e foi levado até à Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) do Parque Abilio Pedro. Depois, ele foi transferido para a Santa Casa de Limeira, onde não resistiu e morreu.

Segundo a mulher, a agressão foi causada por uma pedrada na cabeça, resultando em ferimentos graves que levaram à internação do irmão. Ela afirmou que a agressão não havia sido registrada anteriormente na polícia. A mãe da vítima, contou para a filha que a confusão aconteceu enquanto José estaria embriagado e foi alvo de uma outra pessoa.

A irmã, contou ainda que durante a visita ao homem na UPA, ele demonstrou receio em registrar um boletim de ocorrência, temendo represálias por parte do agressor.

A mulher apresentou uma ficha médica expedida por um médico da Santa Casa onde foi atestado que a vítima sofreu uma fratura na região cervical.

O corpo de José foi encaminhado ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML) de Limeira, onde foi requisitado um exame pericial necroscópico.
