O caminhão foi roubado na Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-304), no quilometro 112, na altura da cidade de Sumaré (SP), onde dois indivíduos armados abordaram a vítima e levaram o veículo juntamente com documentos.

A vítima correu para uma área de mata e conseguiu pedir ajuda em um posto de gasolina.

A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Paulínia recebeu a denúncia de um veículo suspeito em uma área rural, no bairro Parque da Represa e foi averiguar.

No local foi constatado pela equipe da Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (ROMU) que realmente era o veículo roubado a poucas horas.

O caso foi encaminhado ao Plantão Policial, onde o veículo foi devolvido a vítima.
