O acidente aconteceu na manhã desta sexta-feira (30), no km 109, e deixou cinco pessoas feridas.

Nas imagens é possível ver quando o coletivo bate na traseira de um carro preto e tomba no canteiro. O carro atinge outro veículo, que acerta a proteção metálica da pista.

A CCR Autoban, concessionária que administra a rodovia, detalhou que cinco pessoas sofreram ferimentos. Duas foram levadas para a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Padre Anchieta em Campinas (SP), e outras duas, para a UPA Macarenko em Sumaré.

O motorista de um dos carros atingidos ficou gravemente ferido e precisou ser levado pelo helicóptero Águia da Polícia Militar (PM) ao Hospital de Clínicas da Unicamp em Campinas.

O local onde o acidente aconteceu ficou bloqueado por cerca de três horas e o tráfego precisou ser desviado da via expressa para a marginal. O congestionamento chegou a cerca de cinco quilômetros. Por volta do meio-dia, a pista foi liberada.

O ônibus foi retirado do canteiro com a ajuda de dois caminhões guincho. Uma equipe da Autoban realizou a limpeza do local.
