A vítima, João Leandro Brito Neto, estava em uma moto na região de Barão Geraldo e tentou fugir de uma tentativa de assalto.

Segundo testemunhas, Neto seguia em uma moto BMW, quando outros dois motociclistas o abordaram.

Ainda conforme testemunhas, o garupa de uma das motos teria anunciado o assalto dizendo “para ou morre”. No entanto, a vítima seguiu em frente e ao virar a esquina caiu do veículo.

De acordo com a Polícia Civil, há indícios de que os assaltantes pretendiam roubar a moto, mas devido à fuga, efetuaram o disparo fatal e fugiram.

A polícia agora deve coletar imagens de câmeras de vigilância na área do crime para ajudar na investigação e identificação dos autores do crime.

O CNPEM divulgou uma nota neste sábado (17), lamentando a morte da vítima.

Esse falecimento é sentido não apenas por sua equipe de trabalho, nas linhas de luz do Sirius, mas por toda a nossa organização”
