A abertura do processo será realizada no dia 1 de junho deste ano, às 9h30, na sede do CBM – Rua Alfredo Maia, bairro da Luz, no centro da Capital. A entrega dos equipamentos é prevista para dezembro deste ano.

O vencedor será escolhido entre as empresas que atendam aos requisitos técnicos e tenham o preço mais baixo.

Neste ano, já foram entregues 1.375 fuzis, 625 armas de incapacitação neuromuscular e 12 metralhadoras leves.

Programa de modernização

Os novos equipamentos fazem parte de um amplo programa de modernização das forças de segurança estaduais. Somente nesta gestão já foram investidos mais de R$ 167 milhões na aquisição de novas pistolas, fuzis, metralhadoras, escudos balísticos, entre outros. Além disto, foram investidos outros R$ 4,2 milhões na compra de 105 drones.

Os principais objetivos da medida são: garantir os melhores e mais modernos equipamentos às forças de segurança do Estado, e proteger a população, combatendo a criminalidade, prendendo e levando à Justiça aqueles que infringem a Lei.
