O acidente aconteceu por volta das 7h30, na Rodovia Jornalista Francisco Aguirre Proença (SP-101).

De acordo com informações da Polícia Rodoviária, um Fiat Uno seguia pela rodovia quando na altura do quilômetro 7, um dos pneus do carro furou.

Enquanto o motorista tentava seguir para o acostamento, uma moto Honda GC Titan que vinha na mesma direção, bateu na traseira do veículo.

O motociclista ficou gravemente ferido e foi socorrido ao Hospital Municipal Mario Covas.

A polícia esteve no local do acidente e ao checar a moto da vítima, descobriu irregularidades. O veículo tinha uma placa artesanal e estava com a numeração do chassi apagada.

Com isso, além do acidente, a equipe registrou a adulteração de veículo. Posteriormente, a vítima deve responder pelo crime.
