O crime aconteceu no sábado (17) em um shopping da cidade, mas as informações sobre o caso foram divulgadas nesta segunda-feira (19).

De acordo com a corporação, três mulheres e um homem cometeram o crime em uma das lojas do Polo Shopping Indaiatuba, que fica no Jardim Tropical.

Os criminosos foram detidos após a localização do veículo usado por eles. O carro já estava associado a diversos furtos ocorridos na região e vinha sendo monitorado pela Guarda.

Assim que o empreendimento comunicou o crime, uma equipe intensificou o patrulhamento nas proximidades do local e abordaram o veículo. No carro, havia diversos ovos de Páscoa, com o valor aproximado de R$ 14 mil.

Os quatro ladrões foram apresentados na delegacia da cidade e ficaram detidos. Os produtos foram devolvidos ao shopping.
