De acordo com informações da Polícia Militar (PM), o veículo transportava aproximadamente 5 mil litros de etanol. Devido ao acidente, o combustível vazou pela rua e chegou até o rio.

A PM encontrou o motorista no local. Ele estava consciente, mas com algumas escoriações pelo corpo. Logo depois, uma viatura do Corpo de Bombeiros chegou e o socorreu.

O policiamento isolou a área do acidente e acionou a Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo (CETESB) para verificar se houve contaminação no rio.

Guardas municipais e uma equipe de perícia também participaram da ocorrência.

A polícia registrou a ocorrência de capotamento e deve apurar as causas.
