O incêndio atingiu cerca de 4 a 5 hectares e o trabalho de combate ás chamas durou cerca de 3 horas e meia.(Foto:GAMA)

Uma equipe do Grupamento de Proteção Ambiental (GPA) da Guarda Municipal de Americana (GAMA, localizou uma queimada de grandes proporções na região do pós represa na tarde deste domingo (11).

Segundo informações da corporação, a equipe composta pelos patrulheiros Mariano e Monaro realizava um patrulhamento pela orla da Praia dos Namorados, quando visualizaram no pós represa um incêndio de grandes proporções.

A equipe se deslocou até o local e ao chegar encontraram equipes da brigada de incêndio da usina ESTER com três caminhões pipa, deste modo com apoio do GPA foi possível conter o incêndio que tomou conta de aproximadamente 4 a 5 hectares da área verde e canavial.

Diante da possibilidade de ter ocorrido um incêndio criminoso, os patrulheiros se deslocaram até a Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ) onde a ocorrência foi registrada.
