Segundo a instituição, o crime de uso de documento falso foi descoberto após um policial usar o idioma hebraico e os dois não entenderem nenhuma pergunta no controle migratório.

Os dois passageiros não souberam responder às questões em hebraico, idioma oficial de Israel, a polícia desconfiou sobre a origem de ambos e os documentos apresentados, e conseguiu apurar na sequência que ambos deixaram Istambul com objetivo de usar o Brasil como rota até o continente europeu.

Os detidos foram encaminhados à Delegacia de Polícia Federal em Campinas, de onde, após os procedimentos policiais, serão encaminhados ao sistema prisional e permanecerão à disposição da Justiça Federal.
