A Divisão de Prevenção e Educação do Departamento de Investigações sobre Narcóticos (Denarc) ministrou o curso.

De acordo com informações da corporação, cerca de 15 agentes participaram do curso com duração de três dias e carga horária de 12hrs.

Entre os temas abordados estiveram legislação sobre drogas, aspectos pedagógicos, farmacologia e aspectos bioquímicos, mecanismos e efeitos das drogas no organismo, busca alternativa para o prazer e experimentação das drogas.

O objetivo do curso é capacitar os participantes para atuarem em projetos que visem a prevenção primária do uso indevido de drogas.
