O acidente aconteceu na tarde deste sábado (11), em um cruzamento no bairro Nova Veneza, em Paulínia (SP).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, um ônibus de passageiros do grupo Rápido Sumaré seguia pela Rua Três no sentido Centro-Bairro. Ao chegar no cruzamento com a Avenida Natanael José de Campos, um Volkswagen Saveiro desrespeitou a sinalização e entrou na frente do coletivo.

O motorista do ônibus disse à polícia que não conseguiu frear a tempo de evitar o impacto. A batida jogou o carro no canteiro da rua e causou danos nos dois veículos.

Ninguém no ônibus se feriu. Já o condutor da picape, precisou ser imobilizado antes de ser encaminhado para uma unidade médica.

O resgate encaminhou a vítima para o Hospital Municipal de Paulínia. Segundo o laudo médico, o motorista sofreu dois princípios de infarto em consequência do trauma, mas não apresentava lesões. Ele ficou internado.

No local do acidente, a Polícia Militar (PM) liberou o ônibus que estava com toda a documentação em ordem.

Logo depois, tomou medidas administrativas relacionadas ao motorista ferido. Ele vai responder por dirigir com CNH vencida e por conduzir um veículo em mau estado de conservação.
